Prussia, Pret-a-Porto Postal History Collection, 1845-73, attractive holding of 59 covers from the period, on stockpages, displaying an appealing range of Prussian incoming/transit mail postal markings; majority from Russia with "Franco", "Porto", "Aus Russland", "C.R.p.P." ("Correspondence Russe par Prusse") markings in various colors and styles, including an 1870 cover from the French Consulate in St. Petersburg with their blue cachet on reverse; additional "Aus…" handstamps include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, and France; most covers stampless (of course) apart from one each franked Belgium and France; accompanying are articles on the various routes and markings; a couple items toned or front-only, but the majority in great shape for their age and travels, Fine to Very Fine, fully imaged online.
