Collection of 2c Map Stamp Covers and Stamps, with a good variety of material, including two different mint blocks of four, a 100th Anniversary sheetlet of 14 stamps, an imperforate pair 85a bought long ago which has become "muddy waters" (c.v. $700), an imperforate pair in black only (86v from positions 23-33, with light vertical crease, as is usual with these, c.v. $1,200), many fine and very fine mint never hinged and hinged singles, a number of dated stamps including DEC.15.1898, DEC.20, DEC.24 (x2), DEC.25 and other, later dates. Also many re-entries, retouches and other identified varieties, as well as 4 covers, one of which has the "Mulock" signature on its stamp and one dated DEC.25.1898. A nice collection for the specialist, or a great starter collection into the fascinating world of these Map stamps. All pages scanned online. (Image)
