1916 Letter to a Soldier in France, with Manuscript "Killed in Action" Returned to Sender in an Ambulance Cover, cover arrived at the Ottawa Dead Letter Office on JAN.22.1917, opened to find an address and sent back to Saskatoon in an O.H.M.S. Dead Letter Office envelope Type 5 D.L. (T)-50, 000-27-9-16. The envelope has an Ottawa JAN.23.1907 FREE machine cancel. Scarcely seen with its original ambulance cover and original letter still inside. Minor creases, etc., overall both very fine. (Image)
