image Extensive Collection of Canada Post Prepaid Postage Covers and Postcards, 1971 to 2007 in 5 Red Lighthouse Albums, each with its matching slipcase (these retail at $119 each, for a total of $595 alone). We counted over 550 postcards and envelopes with a catalogue value of $1 to $6 each. Appears to have a high level of completion for the period, including many of the "Flag and Office Building" sets. We noted some duplication, mostly to feature the front and back of the postcard. Very impressive collection showing thoroughness and attention to detail. (Image)

image Extensive Collection of Mint Never Hinged Stamps,1976 to 2005, Housed in 21 Red Lighthouse Albums, each with its matching slipcase (these retail at $119 each, for a total of $2,499 alone). Appears to be very close to complete for the period, with quantities of extra and collateral material. The collection includes many blocks, matched sets of plate blocks, coils, souvenir sheets, and booklets, with many displayed in more than one copy to feature the front, inside and back of the booklet. We counted only values 10c and more for the face value given, and the collection includes a lot of material below 10c. Some of the notable quantities or values include the "P" (x216), $5 (x24), $2 (x45), $1.55 (x65), $1.25 (x44), $1.05 (x132), 90c (x212), and there are 12,000 stamps in the 39c to 52c range (see the attached complete inventory for full details). The collection is complemented by many newspaper articles and extracts from Canada Post new issue press releases. An impressive collection, definitely worth a close inspection to better appreciate the care given and value involved, and would be great lot for either the postage user, or Canada collector. (Image)

image Lot of Various Mint and Used, all in 102 cards (in six filled 3-ring small dealer binders), stock sheets and large stock cards. A great variety of material here starting with a used #4, a few Cents issues, mint and used Small Queens, mint and used Jubilees, Admirals and so on to modern, noting lots of varieties such as imperforate pairs, shifted perforations, officials, coil pairs, high value stamps such as 50c Bluenoses and $1 Parliaments, and lots more, too much to list here. Note that some of the descriptions on the 102 cards do not match the contents. We highly recommend viewing this lot, as it contains lots of useful material for dealers and collectors alike. (Image)

image Used Collection in Three Stockbooks, 1852 to 2009, starts with a very fine #4, good selection of First Cents, Large and Small Queens, Jubilees to the 50c, then fairly complete to the modern era (the more modern, the more are missing). A very nice collection, with many of the stamps often missing, such as the early high values, etc. Most of the postmarks are clean and we estimate about 5 to 10% of the collection is mint (in the modern era). image Valuable Mint and Used Collection from 1852 to 1991, in mounts neatly displayed in five Scott Albums. Starting off with a few classics such as the Pence issues (used #4d, mint #8 and used #9), then appears almost complete from the First Cents issue (missing only #16) to 1991 (mint or used). We noticed that most stamps are featured with a mint and used copy side by side, and adding a plate block or a booklet from the 1960s onward. All the popular and sought after sets are present such as LQs, SQs, Jubilees (missing only $3 and $5 values), Leafs, Numerals, Edwards, Québecs, Admirals, many coils and booklet panes. The back of the book is well represented with airmails, officials, special delivery, and more. Unchecked by us for never hinged, catalogue value is for all hinged, up to 1951 only. We estimated at several hundred dollars the face value for the modern stamps. Well worth a close look to appreciate the efforts dedicated to this collection. Some faults (not counted) to be expected but good overall quality, with many well centred stamps. See scans for a glimpse. (Image)

During our cursory look, we noted a NH Caricature QEII vertical imperforate coil pair, some back of the book, precancelled, perfins, BNA, with also some bundleware from the Numeral to Wilding Portrait issue.
