Items in the first album contains owner's notations identifying perfin patterns along with rarity factors (we note a few with rarity factor of 50 and above). A nice lot for the perfin specialist. Precancel Collection on Precancel Album Pages in a Binder, from Small Queens to 1977, the main collection in a binder catalogues $3,672, and includes 6 stock pages of more common duplicates which were not counted. A smaller 3-ring binder contains better duplicates cataloguing $250. Note many inverted precancels, a double precancel and 3 private perfin stamps with Hamilton precancels. Best represented city is Kingston, with Ottawa and Hamilton also strong. Also note a number of mint hinged stamps but mostly all without gum. Saw a few minor faults (short perfs, thins, etc.) still many fine to very fine and a great collection for continuation. (Image)

Noted a good quantity of high value Admirals, some Caricature plate blocks and many more interesting items. A nice quality collection with obvious duplication, catalogued by owner using the 8th edition of the Canadian precancel catalogue. (Image)
