Group of Mint and Used China including PRChina and Republic of China, with roughly 300 stamps in a small group of glassines, plus a number of year or thematic collections. Seven of the glassines contain an assorted mix of mint singles, including some sets, from the Republic of China and PRChina primarily ranging from the 1950's to the 1970s, along with one glassine of used (roughly 50 stamps), from the same time frame. We note Scott #s 1L157 to 161 mint never hinged set (x2, counted as reprints, c.v. $30 each). Also includes PRChina year or thematic collections from 1999 and 2000, along with Republic of China year set of stamps from 1981 and 1983. Collection of Mint and Used in a Springback Album, all neatly hinged onto quadrille pages, the early issues are mainly used, with many mint sets going into the 1970s. Taiwan is by far the strongest section, but there is also a good amount of PRC ($615). Better China issues include #s 1 (mint, $725), 10 (mint, 175), 131-33 (mint, $35), B4-9 (used, $35), C1-2 (used, $140). Taiwan sets include 1183-92 (mint, $38), 1323-26 (mint, $53), 1479-82 (mint, $139), 1515-22 (mint, $45), 1526-31 (mint, $55), 1556-62 (mint, $75), 1624-27 (mint, $41), 1659-65 (mint, $37), 1682-93 (mint, $79), 1745-49 (mint, $85), and many more. Single Frame Exhibit of Stamps, Forgeries and Covers, neatly displayed on 17 pages, page 1 has mint Scott #s 1-5; page 2 has used #s 2-5; page 3 has mint #1 (sheet of 12) plus a die proof sheet of 12 in yellow; page 4 has a cover franked with a #1a; page 5 has used forgeries of #s 1-6; page 6 has a used #7 and a mint pair of #8; page 7 has a mint sheet of 6 of both #s 7 and 8; page 8 has used #s 9-13; page 9 has a mint block of 9 of #11 and a mint sheet of 12 of #12; page 10 has a cover franked with a strip of 4 of the 4 Trangka orange red issue; page 11 has two more covers; page 12 has 7 used 1933 issue forgeries; pages 13 and 14 have three forged used stamps, 10 mint stamps and a cover with four different forgeries; next page has a piece with India stamps used in Tibet and a Lahssa field post office cancel; and the last two pages show three covers mailed during the post-liberation of Tibet period.
