(Shorty) Schroeder, pair of covers, one from Schroeder to Brooklyn, NY, listing his aviation CV, the second a commemorative cachet cover for the 25th anniversary of Schroeder's "epic flight into the stratosphere" in 1920; both covers signed by Schroeder; includes an Oct. 26, 1950, letter from Schroeder to Bill Schneider, both covers Very Fine.
Estimate $100 - 150

Schroder set several U.S. and world altitude records, climbing to 38,180 feet in 1920, and was "Commercial Air Mail Pilot License #1". He went on to work for United Airlines as Vice-President for Safety.
