image [Great Lakes] Grummond's Mackinac Line, Steamers FLORA & ATLANTIC, advertising cover with large, nearly all-over illustration of the Flora in pale greenish gray, franked with a 2¢ red brown 210 tied by a bold Detroit, Mich. Station "2" duplex, Aug 15, 1886, to Fentonville, Mich. and backstamped there the next day; includes the original letter on a matching illustrated letterhead listing the schedules of Flora & Atlantic; cover has edge faults and the letter multiple splits, but overall a Fine piece of maritime postal history., still Extremely Fine.
