image Persia, Empire to Republic Collection, 1868-2012. Housed in three Palo slipcased albums, with stamps in black mounts (keep this in mind when viewing images online, as the album pages are printed in color); starts with a nice three-margined (nearly four-) postmarked remaindered #1 plus a mint #18 and used #20, followed by solid Nasr al-Din Shah portrait issues and Sun Arms issues (each mixed mint and used), a set of four unissued Officials (perforated; noted in Scott); virtually complete Mozaffer al-Din Shah issues (including surcharges and overprints), a nice selection of 1927 Airmail First Issues, lovely early Parcel Posts (nearly all in all three overprint colors!), Ahmad Shah reissues with inverted centers mint, 1912 Kurdistan regional overprints, nearly all the WWI-era overprints, etc., etc., etc., with Pahlavi père issues virtually complete and Pahlavi fils and post-monarchy complete or nearly so; useful duplication throughout, Fine to Very Fine with much better, we've read the caveat in Scott, too, and we've turned a lot of stamps without finding a signature, so this collection is offered AS-IS; that said, much looks good, and much is very pretty; well worth your time to view.
