Persia, Revenues, 1882-1960, extensive holding, in two White Ace slipcases, the first holding the collection, the second protecting a spiral-bound copy of Revenue Stamps of Iran (Baharaeen & Brooks, 1st ed.); stamps are a mix of unused and used with considerable duplication, including Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chancellerie, and Customs; extensive 1882 Petition stamps 1s to 10k (Persiphila #66P1-66P6) unused (140) and used (5); 1886 Commerce (100), Commercial Trade (120), Receipts (16), Petitions (11), Certificates (13), Passports and Visas (8), Visa Exit Fees to Foreign Countries (13, both types) and Transport for both land (9) and sea (13) unused; numerous postage stamps overprinted for Revenue use; a few city overprints; also ca. 1882 Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice including sheets of 20 (2) in brown red and blue, both with Krans values se-tenant; approximately 1,200 stamps and one three-page document, Fine to Very Fine with better throughout.
