Extensive Collection of Used Nova Scotia Cents Issues, neatly displayed on 8 album pages with catalogue numbers and descriptions. Includes a basic set, on both the white and the yellowish papers, plus a good number of shades and varieties, some unlisted in Unitrade but mostly constant in nature, as the owner has them identified by position number. We also note the presence of a few blocks of four on piece. The last page of the collection is an assemblage of 13 different issues, each with a socked on the nose "Halifax H" duplex canceller. Catalogue value of $975 (in Scott) for regular shades only, with postmarks or varieties counted as regular items, does not do this collection justice. A very nice and extensive collection which took years to carefully assemble, overall fine to very fine. (Image)
