We note one folded cover franked with #2 and #4, three 3d franked covers, 1c circular rate, eleven 5c franked covers (one to PEI), a 12½c on cover to England, etc. Overall fine, with the usual faults, all are online. The collector appears to have collected mostly lovely, readable strikes and we note a large proportion of very small, closed offices. Includes collector's inventory, overall very fine. (Image)

image Group of Four Better Stampless Nova Scotia Folded Letters, with an 1858 cover mailed to England by steamer; an 1847 cover postmarked (on front) Wallace N.S. / PAID (scarce) to England (with a different Wallace / N.S. backstamp); a JAN.17.1851 folded cover from Nova Scotia to St John's Newfoundland (FEB.6 receiver on back) with scarce "UD STATES / HALIFAX" c.d.s. on back (first we've seen) and "Printed Report" handstamp in red on front; as well as am 1852 folded letter mailed from Londonderry to Halifax. Overall fine or better all scanned online. (Image)

We counted just about 230 covers and cards, ranging from Small Queens to the 1970s, plus a number of postmarks on piece and on stamp. Great variety of towns, and postmarking devices within each town. image Group of 53 Nova Scotia Related Covers and Postcards, 1920s-1950s, in a small box, primarily ranging from the King George V and VI reigns, with a few covers on either side of the range. The group includes 36 used covers and postcards noting a few R.P.O., military, and smaller town postmarks, along with Airmail and Registered rates, and a few corner cards. The lot also includes 7 Halifax precancels in a 2-row stock card, along with 17 unused postcards, ranging from the King George V and VI eras. Online scans show an overview. The covers have a few small faults with some corner bends. Overall a fine group. (Image)
