image Italian States: Modena, 1852, 5c black on green, with period after value (Scott 6), a fresh and attractive strip of 3 and two singles, all with three margins, paying the correct 25c rate and tied by five of six strikes of a blue Modena double circle datestamp, 28 Jul 1858, on a folded letter to Brescia and backstamped there the next day, Very Fine (Sassone prices a strip of five on cover at €55,000), signed Sismondo, with his 2006 certificate.
