Guatemala, 1900 (June 5), Lovely National Emblem issue on Registered cover (Scott 31//50), a 'round-the-clock franking, comprising lithographed 1c, 10c, and 50c-200c values (Scott #31, 34, 37-41) plus engraved 2c-6c, 20c and 25c values (#44, 46-47, 49-50), all cancelled by multiple strikes in blue of double-bordered octagonal "Oficina Postal de/JUN 5 1900/12 M./Escuintla" c.d.s.; large boxed Registry handstamp in blue top center, with violet oval "Oficina de Certificados/JUN 5 [1]900/*Guatemala*" below; minor hinge remnants (prior mounting) and missing corner of lower backflap mentioned solely for accuracy, Very Fine, a wonderfully colorful cover.
