Old time "The American Album for United States Stamps" collection produced by Scott Publishing - 1946 edition; filled to the brim with exceptional used classics and better issues; includes a choice 5¢ 1847 issue with red grid cancel, decent 1851 imperfs 7, 9, 14-15 and 17; some scarcer 1857 perforated issues 26-27, 30A, 32-33, and 35-38; a nice group of 1861's including 67-72 and 76-78; 1867 grills include 86-91 E grills complete, and 92-98 F grills; 1869 Pictorials 112-121, 1870's Banknotes grilled 134-136 and 138, along with 145-155, 156/166, 182-191, and 205-229; 1893 Columbians include 230-242, 1894 Bureaus 264-261A, 264-278 complete, 1898 Trans-Mississippi's 285-291; 1902-1903 regular issues 300-312 (313 not counted - as it is dubious); a nice group of worthwhile Washington-Franklin issues; a attractive unused lightly hinged 630 White Plains sheet/25; Back of the book include Airmail, Special Delivery, some Postage Dues, some Officials, and even a nice page of Confederate States issues; while most of the collection is used, there's are some better unused stamps present including $1 Columbian; there are 21 certificates of authenticity includes (mostly APS certificates); tremendous amount of catalog value to be found in this oldie, but goodie.
