Cat No: Collections
Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Falkland Islands, 1891-1980s, containing roughly 550 stamps in a stockbook. The lot begins with a group of roughly 40 mint and used Victorian issues, ranging from Scott #9/18, with a few stamps cataloguing $20 and up, and continues with Edward VII onward, including sets and partial sets. We note Scott #65-72 (missing #70, m.h., c.v. $224 total), Scott #84-95 (m.h., c.v. $286), along with stamps and sets cataloging $20 and up. The lot also includes a small selection of Falkland Dependencies and issues for the separate islands. A popular collecting area with duplication up to 5 in some cases. Online scans show a representation of the lot, and note a few small faults with the early material, including a few mint no gum. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)
