Cat No: J1-J40
Advanced Collection of Mint Postage Due Stamps, with Many Varieties, neatly displayed on 10 album pages with catalogue numbers and descriptions. A quick check revealed only 5 stamps that were lightly hinged, rest appear to be never hinged. The collection is complete, and includes all the early thin papers, as well as retouched dies, shades, etc. In the later issues we saw ribbed papers, a fluorescent paper, gum varieties, as well as varieties J28ai, J37ii and J37iii. A very fine collection, not often seen this extensive and complete. (Image)

Cat No: J1-J40, etc.
Advanced Collection of Used Postage Due Stamps, with Many Varieties, neatly displayed on 9 album pages with catalogue numbers and descriptions. The collection consists of all basic issues, plus a large quantity of varieties, including wet and dry printings, shades, papers, and a few constant plate varieties such as J37ii and J37iii. It should be noted that the collector spent years choosing nice quality examples, usually with c.d.s. cancels, with many socked on the nose, which is a difficult feat in itself. Very fine throughout.
