1850, Coat of Arms, 2kr black, hand-made paper (Scott 2), Type Ib, horizontal strip of three, plus 9kr deep blue Type III (#5g), good to large margins, on front and back of Aug. 20, 1854 Registered (advised receipt) folded cover to Florence (8.24), canceled by "Fiume" c.d.s., showing "Fiume/Recommendirt" oval ornamental handstamp on front; the 2kr strip on back neatly severed into pair and single upon opening of the cover, the right-hand stamp in the pair has a central vertical split, otherwise Fine to Very Fine, a scarce and appealing franking.
