In a completely filled 3-inch Scott Specialty binder, with all items neatly mounted and annotated on homemade pages; the majority of the collection is covers, but sprinkled throughout are single stamps with socked-on-the-nose cancels from various towns; we find covers, cards, picture post cards, postal stationery, military postcards, with usages in Italy, what became Yugoslavia, and the Friuli Venezia Giulia area; replete with Registered and Railroad usages, Censors, straightline and c.d.s. cancels, etc., etc., etc.; even includes folded letters from 1484 Venice-to-Spalato (with Vollmeier certificate) and 1590 Cattaro-to-Venice, Very Fine, a boon for the cancellation specialist; inspection invited.

A lovely collection in a Scott Specialty album; a filled first page with duplicated early issues starts the book, which continues full-throttle and nigh-on full throughout to the mid-1980s (pages continue to 1987); while lacking the Renners and WIPAs, don't cry—this has plenty to please, including (mint, unless noted) #91a-104a, 111-126, 127 (used), 329-353, 378-379 (never hinged), overprinted Hitler Head varieties, #B87-92. B100-B110, C12-C31, C54-C56, along with Back-of-the-Book, Offices, Lombardy-Venetia, Occupations, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and a set of Mozart/Schubert stage and trial color proofs, along with a set of sunken die proofs on card signed by designer and engraver G.
