The "Adriatic" departure from New York on Mar. 9th 1861 was delayed as she had been sold to the Galway Line. Her mails were transferred to the Inman Line as a result. The "Adriatic" sailed from New York on March 13th bound for Southampton, where she was docked and surveyed before taking her place in the Galway Line.
