2103 /o      British America, Collection, 1865-1950's. Fabulous premium mint and used Semi specialized collection on Scott pages and part broken down onto stock cards with ID and Cat values. This select group is essentially all better items, strong in the late QV to KGVI periods. A solid cache of valuable and very saleable and or collectible depending on one's perspective with many areas represented by both strong used and mint section in mostly excellent quality with little 'chaff' to be reckoned with. Bermuda with KGV sets VF mint to £1, 12sh 6, plus broken scroll var on 2sh, 10sh (£275 and 650 respectively) + extra 10sh shades never hinged and VF used SG 89ge with S.O.N. cds Estimate £600 as more common mint is £400, 1936 pictorials with mint VF never hinged Inscription blocks including the good 2d. KGVI keyplates mint is strong with scarce printings + line perfs in £500-625 range including 116, 116a, 117, 117a, 118 and 18a both n.h., 118b, 119, 119a, 119b never hinged! And another XF mint, 119c, 120, 120a, 120d yellow (1 soiled pf), 120b, c, e all n.h., 121, 1b, c, never hinged, d, e, never hinged, also a few used with a set to £1, early Bermuda with mint 1, 1a, 2, 2a n.g., SG 22 VF mint dull rose, also #12 looks good but valued low as it has no cert; Nice British Honduras with some early QV both mint and used to 500 ea plus mint 38-46, $1, 82 used, and VF $2, $5, KEVII with $2, $5, both KGV sets mint to $5 plus the 1st VF used on piece and a specimen set of the 1st and for the Moire set and B1-5 (also used) SG 66a 'Bevenue' used. Lovely showing of Caymans complete mint but for the 2½d provisional and scarce was tax, including 1907 provisionals plus the unissued 1d on 4d, extra shades of KGV 10sh, a Specimen set to 10sh lightly used, KGV picture mint and used plus never hinged Specimen set, KEVII and 1st KGV definitives also noted VF used to 10sh. Dominica with mint 1 VF + 6 + 7 n.g., 20 mint plus all mint KEVII + KGV to 5sh + £1, plus KEVII Specimen set, KGV Specimen to 5sh, Jubilee Specimen plus some better used. Leewards outstanding complete mint including 5sh never hinged! KGV to £1 + 10sh used and mint with broken crown + scroll flaw, and VF used, there is specialized treatment of KGVI with all SG listed shades including 10sh pale green 113a, £1 114 mint (2), 114a 5 including 2 never hinged, one with corner sheet margin + later £1s including n.h. cover margin block of 114c, many good used including both KEVII to 5sh. ½ d with damaged frame + crown flaw. Nevis including the "old blue papers #1 mint, 3, 4 used, grey papers mint. mint 14 XF, SG21c crossed lines. mint 19-27, 29-30 + some better and St Chris with/ mint 1-7, 15-16, 17c, Antigua 1¢ cancel A12 at St. Chris also used 1-13, 15-22, ST Kitts Nevis mint 1-63, used 1-20, 24-35, 52-61, 63, 79-118 plus SG 77ad 'break in oval' VF €500. Quite an impressive selection of countries with many scarce varieties, Cat (some SG items converted to $) over $74,500.
