1874 (Aug.23) cover to Ireland with impressive 1/9d franking comprising of Chalons 2d (10), incl.strip of 6, plus 1d single all tied by Rays '96' canceller with fine GYMPIE 'AU25/74' datestamp alongside, on reverse BRISBANE & H&K PACT transit datestamps; cover a tad reduced at left with small internal tear.
1882 cover to London with First Sidefaces 2d strip of 3 cancelled on arrival in England with PLYMOUTH 'SP15/82' squared-circle datestamp, GB 1d lilac added and tied by WEST BROMPTON datestamp for re-direction to St Johns Wood.
1885 (Mar.20) cover to Hamilton, Ontario via San Francisco with 6d & 2d Sidefaces tied by bold strike of Rays '79' canceller, adjacent strike of Type 1a HERBERTON datestamp (Type 1a unrecorded for Herberton by Manning), on reverse, transits for CAIRNS, SYDNEY & INDEPENDENT (Ottawa) plus HAMILTON arrival datestamp. Rare Colonial destination for the period. [Herberton PO opened 1880.]
1886 (June 27) OHMS cover to England addressed to "Colonel Sandilands, Royal Artillery" with 6d Sideface tied by BRISBANE cds, redirected from Charing Cross to Edinburgh with largely fine strike of EDINB & NEWCASTLE SORTING TENDER transit datestamp on reverse.
POSTAL CARDS: Perkins Bacon Die Proof of Chalon Head vignette used in the 1880 Postal Card design, on thick ungummed, unwatermarked wove paper.

POSTAL CARDS: 1911 1d Four Corners stamp design, with admonition in italics 'The Address only to be written on this side' added as the Fourth Line of Heading, on cream stock, two examples, one unused and the other addressed to Sydney (no postal markings); age spotting on the latter. Unlisted by Higgins & Gage. The only known examples. (2)
POSTAL CARDS: (H&G #19) 1911 1d Four Corners stamp design, Dividing Line on address side with 'A.J. CUMMING. GOVT PRINTER' imprint alongside, without a view on reverse and rare thus. Only 3 or 4 examples recorded.
ENVELOPES - PTPO: (H&G #4a) 1d Four Corner Figures in Vermilion on brown stock for user Mactaggarts (Stock & Station Agents, Brisbane, crest on flap), 1906 (Sep. 21) use from Brisbane to Gladstone, '20 POSTED' printed in blue in upper-left corner, fine condition. Very few known.
ENVELOPES - PTPO: (H&G #4a) 1d Four Corner Figures in Vermilion on off-white stock envelope for user Liverpool & London & Globe Insurance (printed logo on flap), 'Sapsford & Co' embossed printer's imprint under flap, printed address, unused; horizontal fold and some staining, flap fault. The only known example.
ENVELOPES - PTPO - NEW ZEALAND ACCIDENT INSURANCE Co: (H&G #4&5) 1906 Four Corner Figures 1d in vermilion and 2d in blue comprising 1d & 2d Proof Envelopes (84x145mm) with black and red text; also 2d issued envelopes (2, both faults) printed in blue with 'Sickness' added to the revised text heading comprising 1905 (Jan.26) Brisbane to Toowoomba uprated with Four Corners 1d (2) both with 'NZ/IC' perfins (one reversed) and 1905 (Apr.10) to same addressee; also 1903 (Apr.12) Brisbane local use of large format 1d Envelope 272x123mm (folds); some condition issues. The only known examples. (5)
REGISTRATION ENVELOPES - FORMULAR: 1888 usage of McCorquodale Size G formular registration envelope to Austria with 2/6d Chalon plus 1d Sidefaces, tied by indistinct Bars cancels, paying 4d registration plus 2/3d postage, 'REGISTERED/BUNDABERG' two-line handstamp, appropriate backstamps; also an unused example of the Size G envelope. Only 5 used examples recorded. (2)
REGISTRATION ENVELOPES: 1912 KEVII 3d (in red) Size G2 Envelope on off-white stock printed by JB Cooke, Commonwealth Stamp Printer (Melbourne), a "hybrid" Envelope with the lines on front in red, and lines on reverse in brownish-red, 'MELBOURNE/DE9/13' CTO datestamp; very fine. Not recorded by Higgins & Gage. Only four CTO examples have been recorded. Ex Australia Post Archival Sale No 1 (1987).
Only 3900 Envelopes were released on 19th Dec.1912, with 3100 being destroyed prior to February 1914.
1886-96 (SG.195s-203s, 206s) "Postage & Revenue" 2/6 - £4 Specimen overprints plus the £10 bronze similarly overprinted. (10). unusually fine and fresh with o.g.

A good collection of postal stationery in album pages; noted 1d American Fleet postal card (unused), OPSO and OHMS 1d cards (3), 1d illustrated Post Cards (19, used and unused) with views including "Butter Factory", "Clarendon", "Carting - Far North", "Kookaburras", "Phosphate Quarry", "Rundle Street", "World's Record (bull)", "Wool Carting", wrappers incl. OS types, etc., (54 items).
1856-57 (SG.20) No Watermark 2d dull emerald-green, unusually large example with good to very large margins and fragment of adjoining stamp at top, lightly struck barred numeral cancels and trace of LONDON transit cancel in red at right. Rare stamp, Cat £950.
