SOLD for $1,300.00

443 /o   image1851-1980, an impressive collection balance and accumulation, housed in glassines in 11 index card boxes. The range here is too much to catalog but includes mint (hinged and n.h.) as well as used, the classics are predominately used and the 20th century is a mix or mint and used with duplication. A very useful lot for the dealer to break down and offer on a retail list or on eBay with a ton of variety. It is a lot full of potential!! Quality is mixed and there could be some faults, otherwise generally Fine to Very Fine. (Image)

445 /o   image1851-1941, a mint and used collection with some better items. It started as a starter collection then grew, and sprouted a lot of value in the early classics: 1851 issue including #35 unused, 1857 issue, 1861 issue including 30¢ used, 1869 issue including Fine used 15¢ (#119), a 30¢ and a faded 90¢ (#122), many Bank Notes, Columbians including a V.F. mint o.g. 50¢ and a used $1, 1898 Trans-Miss. including a F.-V.F. $1, later definitives including a nice used $2 (#312), commemoratives including Panama-Pacific, an ample 1920's and 1930's selection, a basic range of airmail including C1-C6 unused and C18 used, plus a few other back-of-the-book. All hinged or in mounts on old time (almost antique) Scott album pages. The condition varies widely and yes there are faults in places, with gum ranging from o.g. hinge remnant to glazed o.g. to no gum, and with centering running the gamut from great to dismal. There is considerable value here - for the patient. Be sure to check the scans on the web. (Image) (Image2) (Image3) (Image4) (Image5)
