One of the Best UNITED STATES OF NEW GRENADA Covers Undated folded cover from Salinas to Bogota franked by a horizontal pair of the 1861 5c pale yellow, neatly cancelled by double-oval “CHITA / FRANCA” cancellation (Salinas and Chita are the same location). An exceptional item and one of only four letters known from this correspondence, this being the only one franked with a 5c pair and the only one with the “CHITA / FRANCA” cancellation.
