AHMEDNAGAR" seals, four to the "Parole Camp". (13).

702 Ahmednagar Civil Camp. 1915-16 Postcard and cover to Germany both with printed heading "CIVIL DETENUS LETTER" or "CIVIL DETENUS POST CARD" and "Passed by Superintendent, Civil Camp, Ahmednagar", and a stampless cover to Bombay, the postcard and stampless cover both with violet boxed "PASSED CENSOR / JHG / Superintendent / Civil Camp, Ahmednagar", the printed cover with unframed "Passed by ..... Superintendent / Civil Concentration Camp". Fine and scarce. (3).

703 Belgaum. 1915-19 Covers and cards, four stampless items with "Colonel / Supt. Civil Camp, Belgaum" in violet (2) or black (2, handstamp worn), three with additional "Service of Prisoners of War" above, one also handstamped "PASSED CENSOR / BELGAUM / W.E.H", one unusual card to another P.O.W at Ahmednagar and forwarded to Maadi Camp in Egypt with Sidi Bishr P.O.W Camp censor cachet; cover from Bombay to Belgaum with violet "PASSED / CENSOR, BELGAUM" and red censor seals; and a card from the camp to England probably from a camp guard. (6).

Very scarce, very few covers recorded from this camp, which held just 36 people in a census of March 1916.

708 Ramandrug. 1918-19 Printed Ahmednagar Camp P.O.W postcard with the camp name altered to Ramandrug in manuscript, reverse handstamped "FROHE / WEIHNACHTEN & Neujahr", and a Prisoners of War envelope on white shiny paper, both with boxed dated "PASSED CENSOR" cachets of Ahmednagar with differing censor initials. Scarce, very little mail recorded from this Convalescent Camp. (2).
