Michael E. Aldrich Auctions - Mail and Internet Auction - May 23, 2012 Our 71th Michael E. Aldrich Auction sale will close on May 23rd, 2012. This sale will be a mail and live internet auction. This particular sale consists of U.S. and Worldwide stamps and includes 820 lots of U.S., B.O.B., U.S. Possessions, U.S. Revenue and Worldwide stamps and covers. There are some interesting lots in the classic U.S. section highlighted by several better items from the 1869 Issue. There is a nice showing of Washington-Franklins with emphasis on high quality and graded stamps. There is a very good section of Plate Blocks. Several areas from the B.O.B. are present along with a very strong section of U.S. Revenues including many items from the First Issue. In addition there is an excellent section of Match & Medicines. There are several Graded and Certified stamps in the sale.
