S.G. #2/175, S1-3, Mostly mint collection (some 19th century unused)
of 162 stamps covering the period of 1859 through 1942, containing many
better 19th century stamps not often seen left in collections, such as an
unused 1862 1p Lake, and numerous better 1863-77 Victoria issues which
catalog hundreds of dollars each, plus we note an unused 1883 "Fourpence"
surcharge on 6p Deep violet (BPA certificate accompanies), and from 1884
through 1942 the collection is very nearly complete for the major numbers,
couple of 19th century stamps with typical small faults, overall the
collection is fine-very fine (Scott #1/129, E1/MR14). |
