EXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A SPECTACULAR AND EXCEPTIONALLY RARE USED BLOCK OF THE 1851 3-CENT ORANGE BROWN.

Despite the small repair this is still likely the finest used block known. The few other examples contained in our records are either faulty to some degree, have margins that cut in or both. This is the first we have offered in any condition since 2001.

Ex Grunin and Klein. With 1989 P.F. certificate. Listed but unpriced in Scott (Image)
