2691 S Panama American Bank Note Co. Proofs and Specimens. Over 200 items neatly arranged in a small stock book, the proofs are the -1/2c-20c 1915 Panama-Pacific issue and consist of vertical pairs of the frames and vertical pairs of black vignettes, the frames are all in the dark green color of the 1c and all are on card, some show creasing along edges from folding of the large proof sheets for storage, the Specimens (over 200) are mostly various values of the 1924 Arms series and have been meticulously identified by the ABNCo. order numbers (otherwise it would look like duplication), other Specimens incl. early Air Post, several nice sets of the 1940's and a very pretty set of the 22 Cathedral Air Post of 1964, all with red "Specimen" ovpt. and customary security punch holes (not the proofs), scarce lot and ideal for the specialist
