EXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB STRIP OF THE SCARCE 10-CENT TYPE I AND RARE USED ON 35-CENT PRUSSIAN CLOSED MAIL COVER TO SWITZERLAND.

Strips of the 10c 1857 Type I are very scarce and are usually found on covers to France or Vera Cruz. This well-centered strip in combination with the 5c Red Brown for the 35c PCM rate is most remarkable. (Image)
