VERY FINE-EXTREMELY FINE. A RARE IMPRINT AND PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF SIX OF THE 3-CENT ON BLUISH PAPER -- THIS IS REPORTED TO BE THE ONLY KNOWN EXAMPLE FROM THE LEFT SHEET POSITION.
Lewis Kaufman records only five plate blocks, including four from the top position and this one from the left. We have sold only one other plate block since keeping computerized records. That example, from the top position, has perfs touching at bottom. A pane of 100 is also known, with imprint and plate numbers at top and right.
