119   3c Orange Brown, Experimental Orange Brown, Ty. I-II, Balance of Shade Study Collection (10, 10A, 11 var, 11A var). Approximately 150 No. 10/10A and 60 Experimental OB's in stockbook with extensive plating and shade notations by Mr. Hulme, Richard Celler and Dr. William Amonette, essentially the collaborative effort of the foremost students of 1851 Issue shades and plating, many truly beautiful and scarce sub-shades, some multiples, bidders should not expect to find four-margin Gems (they would be individual lots), but the condition is far superior to the typical condition of study collections of this type, lots of great stamps to be found and of enormous value (Scott Retail is $47,500.00+), a rare opportunity to acquire desirable stamps and an even more valuable commodity -- knowledge and time
