EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL IMPRINT AND PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF FOUR OF THE 10-CENT TRANS-MISSISSIPPI ISSUE. SCARCE IN SUCH PRISTINE CONDITION AND WITH SUCH WONDERFUL CENTERING.
VERY FINE-EXTREMELY FINE. THE 50-CENT TRANS-MISSISSIPPI ISSUE IS RARELY SEEN IN PLATE BLOCK FORM, AND IS EVEN RARER WITH SUCH CHOICE CENTERING.
We have only offered one plate block of six and three other plate blocks of four in the past fifteen years. None of these were completely sound.
With 1990 P.F. certificate (Image)
VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE AND DESIRABLE PLATE BLOCK OF THE $1.00 TRANS-MISSISSIPPI ISSUE.
The $1.00 Trans-Mississippi stamp is widely regarded as the most beautiful stamp ever issued by the United States. A review of our records using Power Search found that we have only offered one plate block of six and two plate blocks of four since 1996.
With 1998 P.F. certificate (Image)
FINE AND QUITE POSSIBLY THE ONLY MINT NEVER-HINGED PLATE BLOCK OF THE $2.00 TRANS-MISSISSIPPI ISSUE EXTANT. THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL COMMEMORATIVE PLATE BLOCKS.
There are perhaps three imprint and plate number blocks of six in existence. The imprint and plate number block of four format is also extremely scarce, and we do not recall ever seeing another Mint N.H. plate block, except for the half-pane of 25.
With 1998 P.F. certificate. Listed but unpriced in Mint N.H. condition. Scott Retail for hinged plate block of four. (Image)
