VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE 50-CENT PERF 12 DOUBLE-LINE WATERMARKED FRANKLIN PLATE BLOCK.

Wide-top plate blocks of the 50c Perf 12 with double-line watermark are extremely rare. The Mint N.H. wide-top plate bock in the 2005 Fogelson sale (Shreves) realized $17,000 hammer.
