Jun. 3" (1870) circular datestamp on buff cover to Woonsocket R.I., neatly docketed, very slightly reduced at right

EXTREMELY FINE. A MAGNIFICENT WATERBURY COVER WITH THREE STRIKES OF THE SKILLFULLY HAND-CRAFTED ROSETTE CANCEL TYING A STRIP OF THE ONE-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE.

There are only three recorded Waterbury covers with three 1c 1869 stamps: the famous Running Chicken cover, the Chrysanthemum cover and this Rosette cover.
