The Wells, Fargo & Co. Gold Hill office continued to use the "Utah" handstamp after the region became part of Nevada in March 1861. The ratio of 10c Brown to 25c Blue covers is 1:3 according to Gamett census. Ex Dale-Lichtenstein (1947 Costales sale). Scott Retail $3,500.00 does not accurately reflect rarity of 10c Brown.
