Jun. 14" (1861) circular datestamp, addressed to Thainsville Va., small repair at top, still Very Fine, the Lynchburg entire is one of the earliest Confederate provisionals -- this example, one of approximately fourteen known, is used within two weeks of the beginning of Confederate postal service (Image) 2,500.00
