FORT BRIDGER, U.T./March
1, 1858. Two-line territorial fort handstamp struck twice, once lightly
tying pair of 3c Rose Red (11), clear to large margins, bright shade, the
second strike mostly clear at left on rebacked cover front to Concord N.H.,
ms. "Due 3", some wear and small faults along edges, faint stain
spots VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE THE FORT
BRIDGER STRAIGHTLINE ON THE 1851 IMPERFORATE ISSUE. With 1997 P.F.
