Plate No. 225, slightly mixed condition though much is Fine-Very Fine, worth close inspection

About 180 items, mostly used singles, but also some used pairs and a few unused singles, over 90 1p Imperforate, including some from the "Black Plates", numerous shades, different plates, better cancels such as six with blue Maltese Cross, plate varieties, etc., twelve singles and three pairs of 2p Imperforate, balance is perforated, with different plates, various varieties such as blind letters, cancels, etc., some nice strikes of numeral cancels showing a wide range of towns including one 1p perforated used in Cyprus, condition is better than normally seen with majority Fine-Very Fine, should prove useful to the Line Engraved specialist

To 1950 on Schaubek pages, starts off with the White Scinde Dawk (four large margins, small faults, BPA certificate) and Blue Scinde Dawk (cut to shape, R.P.S. certificate), other better early stamps includes two 4a Blue & Red cut square, a very rare used 1856 2a Yellow Green (S.G. 50) with B.P.A. certificate (small repair), a few covers, later sets and high values, three sets of the 1948 Gandhi, plus two first day covers, and the 3-1/2a value with Official overprint, early Officials include SG O17 and O18 (usual faults, both with certificates), and other Back-of-Book, early stamps in typical mixed quality, much of the later is Fine-Very Fine, overall a desirable collection that contains many scarce stamps not normally seen in collection lots offered at auction
