Worldwide Stamps and Postal History, Featuring The Irwin Weinberg Inventory continued...

Worldwide Collections and Accumulations
Lot Sym. Lot Description
4167   Worldwide Huge Balance of the Weinberg Estate. In his six-plus decades as a stamp dealer, Mr. Weinberg accumulated all sorts of odds and ends - 22 boxes worth as it turns out - filled with stamps in stockbooks, albums, pages, glassines, dealer cards, etc., anything and everything could be in here, just in a quick glance we noticed many better and useful items, too much to go into any detail, inspection in obviously necessary and will likely reveal our estimate to be quite conservative

4168   Worldwide Accumulation. Several hundred groups that were purchased as large lots in old Hugh Barr auctions, most are on album pages, some in albums, and others in glassines or stockcards, most are catalogued using the 1968 Scott Catalogue, many with catalogue values in the few hundreds of dollars and the total will undoubtedly be in the five figures (certainly many multiples of that number by today's catalogue values), wide range of countries including a little United States, mixed condition, a genuine old-time hoard which has not been touched in decades
