VERY FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF THE BEST-CENTERED EXAMPLES OF THIS RARE INVERTED PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT OVERPRINT ERROR.

Only two sheets were printed upside down, and surviving examples with original gum show some degree of climatic toning.

FINE. A RARE USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1893 2-CENT DULL VIOLET WITH INVERTED OVERPRINT.

Only two sheets were overprinted upside down. Very few examples of this inverted overprint error are known used. This might be the only sound used copy extant.

FINE APPEARING AND EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1893 2-CENT DULL VIOLET WITH INVERTED OVERPRINT USED ON COVER.

Only two sheets of this 2c overprint were printed upside down, and this is believed to be the only example known on cover.

Horizontal pair, left stamp the error with strong double overprint, original gum, h.r., complete offset of overprint on gum of both stamps, which explains faint ghost third impression on the pair, small thin spot right stamp (non-error)

VERY GOOD CENTERING AS ALWAYS. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1893 5-CENT PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT DOUBLE OVERPRINT.

Only ten stamps in one sheet were doubly overprinted (Category I), of which eight surviving examples are reported.

VERY FINE. A RARE SOUND USED EXAMPLE OF THE CATEGORY II DOUBLE RED OVERPRINT ON THE 1893 5-CENT ULTRAMARINE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT ISSUE.

The Category I double overprint on the 5c Ultramarine does not exist in used condition, so this Category II error is the closest one can come to a used double overprint.
