EXTREMELY FINE. A MAGNIFICENT SOUND UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 1863 2-CENT DARK BLUE ON BLUISH PAPER. ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL HAWAIIAN NUMERAL ISSUES.

The 2c Dark Blue on Bluish paper (Scott 17) was printed after Scott 18 and before Scott 20. It is one of the rarest of all Numeral Issues in either unused or used condition, and almost all known examples have small faults. This sound example is a true condition rarity.
