1634 374 image1910, 1¢ green (Scott 374), complete star sheet of 60, o.g., hinge remnants re-inforcing separations, terribly elusive star sheet/60, about half the stamps in pristine never hinged condition; lots of hinges on edges of sheet; these small sheets were sold only in Washington, D.C. during Se[tember and October of 1912. They were made from the outer six vertical rows of the imperforate "star plates" that were deemed unsuitable for use in vending machines due to their 3mm wide spacing; although not in tip top shape, this sheet is incredibly elusive and has some nicely centered examples in the center of the sheet; creases in bottom sheet margin; top left stamp with nicked corner at upper left, generally Fine to Very Fine.
