1022 () 101 image1867, 90¢ blue, F. grill (Scott 101), unused without gum, one of the freshest and choicest appearing examples one could ever imagine obtaining on this rare high value grilled stamp, with the most beautiful rich color and clearly etched impression we have ever seen on this issue; a great stamp for the collector looking for an eye-catching example to proudly display in their album; pre-printing paper crease as described on the accompanying APS certificate is just a minor vertical paper wrinkle running along the left side of the well impressed grill, Fine to Very Fine appearance, with 2001 A.P.S. certificate.

1026 o 110 image1861-66 (1875 Re-issue), 30¢ brownish orange (Scott 110), neatly struck duplex cancellation, outstanding example of this incredibly rare used 30 cent 1875 re-issue, with gorgeous rich color and exceptional centering; a very desirable stamp - as this impressive used example, 22 examples are known to exist, has always been considered one of the finest used examples, being sold as completely sound and choice; in fact the accompanying 1972 P.F. certificate indicates it in completely free of any faults; not until the 2009 P.F. certificate described a tiny perf tear has this stamp fallen from the top of the list; a wonderful chance to acquire one of the most difficult 1875 re-issues, of which 346 were sold and only 22 are known in used condition; tiny tear at left, the sixth perforation hole down from the top, otherwise Fine to Very Fine, Ex-Sheriff, with clear 1972 P.F.C. and 2009 P.F. certificate mentioning a tiny perf tear.
