Estimate $500 - 750

The TITANIC mark is believe to have been applied while in transit in Paris, it was then transferred to Cherbourg where it was due to have been carried by the Titanic. Although, due to complications with the building of the Titanic, the maiden voyage was moved from March 20 to April 10. Word must have reached the appropriate mail clerks and the cover was placed on the next available ship. While not actually carried on the Titanic this cover is certainly a wonderful addition to a Titanic collection
