Hong Kong, 1939, Hong Kong to San Francisco first flight, registered cover originally posted in London on March 30, 1937, franked with five Great Britain stamps, and then transported to Hong Kong to be included in the first flight to San Francisco (AAMC F14-16), re-franked with two Hong Kong KGV adhesives and tied by Apr. 29, 1937 postmark, flew to San Francisco, then re-forwarded to New York where it was re-franked with two United States airmail stamps that were tied by May 20, 1937 machine cancel, and then sent in the first flight to Marseilles (AAMC F18-1). An interesting double first flight cover with minor flaws and postmarks at each step along the way, Fine to Very Fine.
