1335 Scott No. 9a imageCONFEDERACY 1863, 10¢ milky blue, "T-E-N" (Scott 9a), exceptional sound four margin copy tied on small reversed (turned) envelope piece by black grid with "Farmville, Va" town cancellation, reverse shows a partial vertical pair #6 tied by "Richmond" cds, tiny worm holes in the piece does not affect the stamp, interesting usage of the rare "T-E-N" used on a turned cover piece, Very Fine.

1336   imageCONFEDERACY 1862, De La Rue's unissed 10¢ design, four sheets of the altered 1862 Scott #14, the stamp that was never put in use. Upon orders of the CSA government De La Rue & Co. prepared the 10¢ typographed plate by altering the 1¢ previously made by them. Stamps were never officially printed from the plates although privately made prints exist in various colors. The original plates were discovered after WWI, these four sheets are green, blue, red & yellow, the plates are now in a museum, Very Fine.
