1953 Coronation 3½d 7½d & 2/- SG 264-266 set of three imperforate die proofs in the issued colours recessed in a single card
(145x115mm) ACSC 300/1/2DP(1), three Note Printing Branch handstamps on the reverse each dated "28-5-53" and numbered "22", "24" & "37" respecitvely, a few minor blemishes on the card and the paper flap missing, the proofs are very fine, Cat $7500.
An exceptional QEII proof, especially for the Coronation or Omnibus collector. The ACSC states that eight such proofs were prepared, of which one is in the Royal Collection and another in the Australia Post Archives. The recipient was WL Russell of

ACSC 328DP(1), Cat $3000. Superb. Ten presentation proofs were produced, for the Royal Collection and numbered '23' to '32' except '27', this being '31', for JRW ('Bill') Purves of the Stamp Advisory Committee. With the back panel with boxed
