DON BRADMAN - FIRST TEST: 'Stuart Surridge & Co' cricket bat endorsed on reverse 'Australia v England, First Test, Brisbane Nov
30th 1928' signed by 9 Australians - Jack Ryder, Bert Oldfield, Jack Gregory, Clarrie Grimmett, Alan Kippax, 'Stork' Hendry, Don Bradman, Bill Ponsford & Ron Oxenham; plus 10 Englishmen - Jack White, JB Hobbs, Ernest Tyldesley, Walter Hammond, Harold
Larwood, Phil Mead, Patsy Hendren, Herbert Sutcliffe, Percy Chapman & Les Ames. Bat varnished and Australian signatures have bled, though all still legible. An historic signed bat. [Bradman had a disappointing Test with 18 & 1 as Australia lost by
675 runs. He was dropped for the 2nd Test, and then re-appointed for the 3rd Test where he scored his maiden Test century. That was followed shortly after by a score of 452 not out for NSW]. (Image1) (Image2)
