335 image 1974 $50 FRN(Chi) AU58 w/ a gutter-fold error through the denomination on the face. The error is interesting because it appears on the face but not on the back indicating that the fold in the paper occurred between the 1st and 2nd printings of the note. (Intaglio notes actually have three printings in their manufacture. The 1st one prints the back, the 2nd the front, and the 3rd prints the serial numbers, the Treasury seal, and the Federal Reserve bank. The present note had a clean 1st printing, but then incurred a paper fold causing the 2nd printing to show the error.) See the pic! (Image) (imageb) (All Images)
